So thankful for God’s blessings in this season of life!!

Hi, I’m Julie and I’m so glad you are here!

The Lord led me to begin this blog as a way to reach out and share with other women what a wonderful God He is.

I know this because of His faithfulness in my own life.  Whether you already know the Lord, Jesus Christ as your Savior, or you are still seeking answers to life’s questions...

My prayer is that you will find love, hope, encouragement, and inspiration here!

God loves us so much that He sent His Son, Jesus Christ to die on the Cross for our sins, and whosoever believes on Him and receives Him as their Lord and Savior will have everlasting life! We are saved by grace through faith, and He seals us with the Holy Spirit.

God's Word tells us, in 1 John 4:18, that His perfect love casts out fear.  God’s love fills us with an invincible source of peace and joy even in the midst of difficult circumstances.  In Romans 8, God promises us that nothing will ever separate us from His love, and we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us. God tells us, in Hebrews 13:5, that He will never leave nor forsake us.

To be loved by God

truly is to be

loved forever after!

It’s only by God’s love and mercy that I’m even alive today to be writing about His power to save and deliver.

And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
— Matthew 28:18

I accepted the Lord, Jesus Christ as my Savior when I was ten years old. In my late teens, I made the sinful choice of turning to alcohol and drugs. For many years I struggled to break free from the stronghold of addiction.

God mercifully watched over me during those years, and finally gave me complete deliverance from addiction seventeen years ago!  He used the ministry of RU Recovery to teach me how to have a daily personal relationship with my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

You can read my testimony of hope for the addicted and their loved ones here and visit RU Recovery Ministries here. I’m thankful to be a sinner saved by grace — unconditionally loved by my heavenly Father! I love the Lord!

It’s my prayer that you will see the Lord Jesus high and lifted up through the words you read here. If that happens, then God will get the glory — because ALL praise, glory and honor belong to Him!

My life is not perfect and neither am I — but my God is Perfect and has blessed me so much more than I deserve! He has taken my broken life and restored the joy of my salvation!

I live in beautiful Kentucky. My husband and I have been married twenty-two years. For many of those years, we enjoyed boating on the lake and riding our motorcycle on the country roads — but now we have a used roadster convertible that’s fun to drive.

I’ve loved to write for as long as I can remember. I went back to college and completed a Bachelor degree at the age of 54. Now by God’s grace, I’m writing a Christian novel — the first draft is finished and it’s in the revision phase.

I thank and praise God for blessing me with a son, a daughter, and nine grandchildren! I love being a mom and a grandmother!  I can honestly say that my favorite age is now.

I’m also thankful to belong to a local Bible-believing church and love my pastor and church family! My heavenly Father continues to mold me on His Potter’s wheel. He’s been restoring my soul and it's amazing how beautiful life can be!

I hope that you will join me on this journey of following on to know the Lord more.

Let’s do this thing called the abundant life together

—loved forever after by God!

I am come that they might have life, and have it more abundantly.
— John 10:10b
