So thankful for God’s blessings in this season of life!!

Hi, I’m Julie and I’m so glad you are here!

The Lord led me to begin this blog as a way to reach out and share with other women what a wonderful God He is.

I know this because of His faithfulness in my own life.  Whether you already know the Lord, Jesus Christ as your Savior, or you are still seeking answers to life’s questions...

My prayer is that you will find love, hope, encouragement, and inspiration here!

God loves us so much that He sent His Son, Jesus Christ to die on the Cross for our sins, and whosoever believes on Him and receives Him as their Lord and Savior will have everlasting life! We are saved by grace through faith, and He seals us with the Holy Spirit.

God's Word tells us, in 1 John 4:18, that His perfect love casts out fear.  God’s love fills us with an invincible source of peace and joy even in the midst of difficult circumstances.  In Romans 8, God promises us that nothing will ever separate us from His love, and we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us. God tells us, in Hebrews 13:5, that He will never leave nor forsake us.

To be loved by God

truly is to be

loved forever after!

I guess I should tell you a little about myself...

Well, I'm an introvert who enjoys a good book and a cup of coffee, or walking in the woods with my camera at my side. I am a sinner saved by grace.  I love the Lord!  I feel like I was born to write.   Although, writing this 'about page' is a little hard.  Yes, I even feel shy writing! : )

I live in Kentucky and have been married to my husband, Bill for 21 years. We enjoy boating on Lake Cumberland and motorcycling on back roads in the country. I have a son, a daughter, and nine grandchildren.  I love being a grandmother!  I can honestly say that my favorite age is now.

I accepted the Lord, Jesus Christ as my Savior when I was ten years old. In my late teens, I made the sinful choice of turning to alcohol and drugs. For many years I struggled to break free from the stronghold of addiction. God mercifully watched over me during those years, and finally gave me complete deliverance from addiction 16 years ago!  God used the ministry of RU Recovery to teach me how to have a daily personal relationship with Jesus.

You can read my testimony of hope for the addicted and their loved ones HERE and visit RU Recovery Ministries HERE.

I still fail the Lord all the time in so many ways, but He is a wonderful Father to me. He patiently continues to mold me on His Potter’s wheel. He has been restoring my soul and it's amazing how beautiful life can be! I hope that you will join me on this journey of following on to know the Lord more.

Let’s do this thing called the abundant life together

—loved forever after by God!

I am come that they might have life, and have it more abundantly.
— John 10:10b
